1. Q: Where are Bear Heights Club seats located?

A: Bear Heights Club seats will be located on the 200 Level of McLane Stadium's west side. Club seats will span from the 5-yard line to 5-yard line and provide comfortable amenities. Located conveniently behind the seating area is the Bear Heights Club offering more than 18,000 square feet of indoor dining space, dedicated restrooms, food and beverage, as well as access to elevator/escalator entrances from the main level.

2. What amenities are provided with a Bear Heights Club seat?

A: Bear Heights Club seats provide cushioned bottoms and backs, extra seat width (two inches more than most Bear Heights seats at Floyd Casey Stadium), additional legroom (six inches more tread between rows than at Floyd Casey Stadium), and access to the climate controlled Bear Heights Club. The cost for Bear Heights Club seats also includes the game ticket, pre-game meal and soft drinks. Ticket holders in Bear Heights Club seating will also be guaranteed on-site stadium parking.

3. Q: How will the Bear Heights Club seat sales process work?

A: The club seat sales process marks the final component of the McLane Stadium Campaign Phase where a donor making a campaign gift to Baylor University will be provided priority in the selection ranking process (Campaign gifts and selection ranking are explained in Questions 4 and 5). Any unsold club seat inventory following the McLane Stadium Campaign Phase will be made available to Bear Foundation members in early 2014 during the McLane Stadium Seating Process.

4. Q: What is a campaign gift?

A: This is a one-time financial commitment to an approved University project. Donors making a campaign gift of $25,000 or more per seat will be placed into Campaign Tier ONE and donors making a campaign gift of $5,000 or more per seat will be placed into Campaign Tier TWO. (Further explained in Question 5) The approved University projects include: 1) Athletics Capital Fund; 2) Business School Building Fund; 3) Student Scholarships. A campaign gift can be designated to any of these three programs with a pledge to be completed by December 31, 2017.

  • Campaign Tier ONE: $25,000 per seat
  • Campaign Tier TWO: $5,000 per seat

 
5. Q: How will selection order be determined for Club seat location?

A: A donor making a campaign gift will enter either Campaign Tier ONE or Campaign Tier TWO, then ranked within each tier using the 2013-14 Bear Foundation Ranking System. Any remaining club seat inventory following the campaign phase will be made available through the McLane Stadium Seating Process in early 2014.

6. Q: Is a campaign gift required in order to acquire Bear Heights Club seats?

A: Although a campaign gift is not required, donor response will determine availability beyond the McLane Stadium Campaign Phase. An opportunity to be included in the club seat selection process will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Following the conclusion of the campaign phase, any remaining club seat inventory will be made available without a campaign gift based upon a donor's Bear Foundation membership level. The general McLane Stadium Seating Process will take place in early 2014 and will include any unsold club seats.

7. Q: How much does a Bear Heights Club seat cost?

A: A club seat's total annual cost is dependent upon which section the seat is located and the cost is to be fulfilled by a donor's annual Bear Foundation membership.

  • $2,000 per seat: Sections C3, C4, C5, C6, C7 (between the 25 yard lines)
  • $1,500 per seat: Sections C1, C2, C8, C9 (between the 5 and 25 yard lines)
8. Q: Is there an additional season ticket charge for seats in the Bear Heights Club seat costs?

A: No, the aforementioned $2,000 and $1,500 per seat costs are inclusive of the season ticket and food and beverage. The $2,000 and $1,500 seat costs are to be paid annually through a donor's Bear Foundation membership. This process has been created to provide a more convenient payment process for the Bear Foundation member.


 
9. Q: How do I reserve a Bear Heights Club seat?

A: A completed reservation form, as well as an initial gift equal to or greater than 10% of the total campaign pledge, will be required. Reservation forms will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and the initial 10% gift is to be made by no later than October 1, 2013 in order to be included in the club seat selection process. The following timeline indicates the donor eligibility for submitting a reservation form:

    June 26th - Priority availability for 2013-14 Bear Foundation members at Athletic Director Club level ($9,000) or higher

    July 17th - Available to all 2013-14 Bear Foundation members (subject to availability)

To participate in the campaign phase, please contact the Bear Foundation staff or utilize the secure online reservation form that will first be available on June 26th for eligible donors.

10. Q: How many Bear Heights Club seats are available at McLane Stadium?

A: There are approximately 1,100 club seats available at McLane Stadium.

11. Q: How many Bear Heights Club seats may I purchase?

A: Donors will be able to purchase the same number of season tickets they purchase for the 2013 season. Additionally, to provide a chance for as many members as possible to participate, a single Bear Foundation account can select up to 8 club seats in sections C4, C5, C6.

12. Q: When will Bear Heights Club seat selection take place?

A: Bear Foundation members who participate in the McLane Stadium Campaign Phase for the Bear Heights Club seats will be able to select club seats using our online seating system late this fall. Participants will be notified in advance of their seat selection date and time.

13. Q: Once I have acquired a Bear Heights Club seat, am I guaranteed it for a length of time?

A: Club seats acquired during the McLane Stadium Campaign Phase are exempt from McLane Stadium reseating for five (5) seasons (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018). A donor's annual fulfillment of the seat costs through the Bear Foundation is required to remain in good standing with the Foundation. Donor is also obligated to at least maintain the Foundation contribution level that was used to rank them in the selection process. Any club seats purchased after the McLane Stadium Campaign phase will participate in any reseating process during that five season period.

14. Q: How long do I have to complete my campaign gift payment?

A: A campaign gift payment schedule will be established in 2013 to be completed by December 31, 2017.

15. Q: Is a campaign gift tax deductible?

A: We ask that you seek advice from your personal tax advisor in determining tax deductions. However, you will receive a gift receipt from Baylor University for the full campaign gift amount. The annual Bear Foundation contribution comes with a gift acknowledgement and the appropriate list of benefits.
